Shape of you
title from the song by the same name artist Ed Sheeran
Figure drawing , it was no accident that I could draw or paint anything ,it took some time to get it right and a willingness to make many mistakes. Most if not all of my painting either acrylic or watercolor I did multiple times. I never let the fact that something didn’t come out the way I wanted it to slow me down. As a matter of fact if it came out crappy I would double my effort. often time totally ruining a perfectly acceptable painting , like the days of labor I put in on Michael Jackson. I would not stop ,if I had it would have been fine. This is life you live ,and in my case you say f — it , next.
the above to pieces as like most are copies of others work, on valentine's Day I sent copies of the one above and to the right to freinds and family that were married with this caption , “ Don’t let me hear you say she didn’t warn you”
My niece loved it so much that I did the one above and to the left and gave it to her. The original piece is titled Basil the barbarian. I changed that to Tara the authoritarian , Robbie ,mommy said no!
Kind of fitting for a working mother, She’s ready for work ,but of course there the children need attention too.
I hope you enjoyed this sampling of my insanity , it is always a pleasure to share these and some of the stories behind my obsession.
much lov
