No questions asked

Could you pick me out of a crowd?

Have you looked into my eyes?

Or have your ears heard my voice?

Does an image fill your mind that reminds you of me?

To all that have lost hope from the chains that fetter

To the meek and oppressed or imprisoned

To those who sit in judgement or have to wield this sword

To all whom are oblivious and those that go unnoticed

Is my presence a burden?

Does the thought of me cause you strife?

Will you need me to lift your spirits?

Can you trust never knowing?

To all that live happy and content

To all whom are thankful

To you who have heard the call and answered

To those who don’t need anything else from life

Swift feet carry a word

Only a heart can know the memory

When my time is over

The pages written of me

will fill a book which then will be closed

Art by jen copy of Degas Girl with parasol

To all my family, friends ,neighbors and countrymen

To my enemies or oppressors

To those that came before and those who come after

I offer all,

all that I have

all that you need

all that you want

all that you can carry

all of my love

Place your burdens on my shoulders and place your yoke around my neck

Tether your weary spirit to my cart, rest your mind upon my heart

No one will be denied

No one will have to ask

No one will need for want

No questions asked

This is what I am for you.

For I am who I am

and I will be what I will be

The creator of creators

there was no other before nor shall there be any one after

art by jen

For I am the way and

I am the light
