Don’t feed the bears
and keep your fingers and hands out of the cages
and for the love of God don’t try to impove Jens attitude with your kind words and pleasantries.
she doesn’t know how to act when she is happy
and I don’t want my therapist to think all her effort is starting to work, she might get this crazy notion of charging me for my appointments.

This copy or “reproduction “is of a painting called Test of champions by artist Gerald Harvey Jones.
A brief history Mr Jones was born in 1933 in San Antonio graduated from Tivy High School. Attended Abilene Christian College where he met his wife, Patty Marie Bentley He graduated from North Texas State U. While he was teaching
industrial arts at O. Henry Junior High in Austin in the late 50’s when after receiving an oil paint set from his wife, Gerald began his painting.
This is a reproduction one of his many works. Sadly Gerald Harvey Jones passed away last year on November 13 2017.
The reason I chose to do this one was to give a gift to my cousin who loves horse racing. This was the first time I ever tried to paint a horse. I would hope Mr Jones would feel this to be a fitting tribute to his artwork.
